Pet hair removal in Munich

Dog and cat hair does not simply lie on the upholstery, it hooks into the weave. An ordinary vacuum passes right over it. We loosen the hair out of the fibre with a brush roller and extract it before the actual cleaning begins.

Why vacuuming alone is not enough

Pet hair has a scaly surface and anchors itself between the fibres. It has to be released mechanically before it can be vacuumed at all. Only then does wet cleaning make any sense – otherwise the hair simply gets damp and stays put.

Odour is a separate job

Pet odour rarely sits in the hair; it sits in what has soaked into the padding. We work against that in several stages, treating the layer beneath the cover as well. We neutralise rather than mask with fragrance – a masked smell returns within a fortnight.

Mention urine right away

Urine on upholstery or mattresses needs different treatment and more time than ordinary soiling. Please state it in your request – otherwise too little time is allowed for the visit and the result falls short of what is possible.

FAQ

Common questions

Does all the pet hair come out?

Most pet hair can be reduced considerably. Individual hairs anchored deep in seams or fibres can remain. After the first appointment every following cleaning gets easier.

Is the treatment safe for my pet?

Once dry, yes. During the work the animal should be in another room – because of the machine, not the products.

Is a protective coating worth it with pets?

Often yes. It does not stop hair, but it makes vacuuming between appointments easier and buys you time to blot liquids before they soak in.
